Graduate School Checklist
- Request application from WSU, EWU, or Whitworth
College; send to address indicated on application form,
along with appropriate fees.
- Complete the Intercollegiate College of Nursing
application by filling out all forms and obtaining 3
favorable recommendations in relation to professional
nursing competence. These evaluations should be filled
out by Supervisors, Physicians, and/or colleagues who are
familiar with the quality of your work during the last
three years. They are to be sent by the evaluator to the
Intercollegiate College of Nursing Graduate Office.
- Complete 3 semester hour basic statistics course with
a minimum grade of C (if a statistics course has not been
taken as an undergraduate).
- Transcripts of all baccalaureate and
post-baccalaureate course work must be sent to
both the Graduate Program Office at the
Intercollegiate College of Nursing and
the Graduate School at the enrolling
university/college.
- Complete the Washington State Patrol Disclosure and
background Check form; send to address listed on back of
form.
- Send evidence of licensure, CPR certification and
immunizations to the Intercollegiate College of Nursing
Graduate Office.
- Family Nurse Practitioner applicants only:
- Complete the written interview questionnaire; return to the Intercollegiate College of Nursing Graduate Office.
- Provide the Intercollegiate College of Nursing
Graduate Office with evidence of completion of
history taking/physical assessment course within past
five years;or current work experience.
- Application deadlines are: October 1for spring semester; February 1 for fall semester.
