Spokane Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Getting Around to Schools and Communities During Summer Months

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be wheeling its way to various locations throughout Spokane County including Spokane schools and select McDonald’s Restaurant locations during the month of August providing mobile primary health care services.

The Care Mobile, staffed by nurse practitioners from the Intercollegiate College of Nursing/WSU College of Nursing, provides physicals, treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, vision and hearing screening, and immunizations to children and young people, newborn to age 21.

The Care Mobile offers services to the community, regardless of the ability of the patient to pay. A fee for services payment plan allows for a large portion of uninsured children to receive medical care. The Care Mobile also accepts Washington State Health coupons, as well as most insurance plans.

Primary sponsors of the Care Mobile include the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane, Spokane McDonald’s Restaurant and several local funding partners. The Care Mobile is operated by the Intercollegiate College of Nursing/WSU College of Nursing and Inland Northwest Health Services. The following schedule provides the date and location where the Care Mobile can be found during August.
